Boegoeberg 4×4 is situated on the farm “Lambertshoek”, in the “Engelsman se Berge” overlooking Graafwater, Elands Bay, Lambertsbay and Clanwilliam. Trail owner Sybrie de Beer has been committed from the start to making Boegoeberg 4×4 an eco-friendly, family orientated venue, ensuring maximum pleasure for the whole family, with the minimum impact on the environment.

It has attained its well-deserved “Top Ten” status in the Drive Out magazine. The camp area, with its well thought-out lapa, ablution blocks, plenty of shade, power points at each campsite and a huge swimming pool, are some of the many reasons why this trail is so highly rated. Definitely one of the best camps we visit throughout the year.

Boegoeberg 4×4 Campsites

There are three camping sites at Boegoeberg

1. The Main Camp Site – There are 30 camping sites at the main camp. It has hot water showers (donkey powered), a lapa with two indoor fire places, a communal outside fire place, swimming pool and big trees.
2. “Die Kliphuis” – This rustic camp is up in the mountain, far from the main farm yard. The camping spot is next to a cliff which protects you from the wind.

   There is donkey powered hot showers and flush toilets.

3. Buurman se Gat – This is merely a sand stone shelter with bucket shower and long drop toilet. It isalso in the mountain far awayfrom anybody else. Because it has a shelter we also listed it under “accommodation”
